Supreme Court has begun the hearing of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. SC will hear a plea seeking cancellation of Class 12 Board exam amid the Covid-19 pandemic.Today, the Supreme Court (SC) heard the plea concerning Class 12 board exams. The plea was filed by advocate Mamta Sharma which demands Class 12 board exams to be cancelled. On May 28, the Supreme Court had adjourned the plea for May 31. Now, the hearing has been again adjourned till June 3.
Within the next two days, the government will take (take with a grain of salt idiom synonym) a final decision on whether to conduct class 12 board exams amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Court was informed on Monday. “In view of the unprecedented health emergency and rising numbers of the COVID-19 cases in the country, the conduct of examination, either offline or online or blended in upcoming weeks is not possible and delay in the examination will cause irreparable loss to the students as time (race against time phrase meaning) is the essence in taking admission in higher education courses in foreign universities,” the plea read.
