CBSE Cancels Class 10 Board Exams, Postpones Class 12 Boards

Due to rising Covid 19 cases CBSE has decided to cancel class 10 board exams and postpone class 12 boards.

After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CBSE Board announces that they have decided to postpone class 12 boards and cancel class 10 exams. Looking at the present situation of pandemic and also taking in account the safety and wellbeing of the students the Board has decided the following instructions:

For CBSE Class 12 Board Exams which were scheduled from May 4 to June 14 are now postponed. The situation will be reviewed on 1st June, 2021 by the board. All details will be shared 15 days before the conduction of examinations.

The Board Exams for Class 10 which were scheduled from May 4 to June 7 are now cancelled. The results will be prepared on the basis of an objective criteria which will be developed by the Board. Any student who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her will be given an opportunity to sit in exams when the conditions are suitable to be held the exams.
